I'm taking David Roche's recent advice to heart: The person on the 100K starting line who can run the fastest 5K can probably run the fastest 100K as well. My trail race training feels a lot like road race training right now, and I love it. I want to test these theoretical numbers irl soon. #running

Last run of zone 2 base-building and knee rehab. Gorge Waterfalls 100K is 12 weeks away. Time to kick off the training plan! 🥳

Back on the trails at Big Hill Pond State Park! I opted to run every climb I could, and never used my poles. This was the final exam for my knee rehab, and it passed with flying colors. Feels good!

3 weeks sober. My average resting heart rate has dropped 11 bpm to 39, sleep score was nearly perfect, & heart rate variability is through the roof as my 4 week average catches up. I had no illusions of drinking being healthy, but it's wild to see the change in numbers when not drinking 2 IPAs/night
