Wrapping up my 10th year of native gardening and it's been far more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. Pollinators - monarchs specifically - are what got me started, but it's really about ALL wildlife.

Show PostTook a break from working in the greenhouse to do a bit of paddling on my favorite river. There are 5 active Bald Eagle nests here. Happy to see all the Bald Eagles healthy (no signs of Avian Flu) watched 1 of last year's kids enjoying a freshly caught carp for breakfast. #Eagles #wildlife #kayaking

This is AWESOME news! I built a Monarch Sanctuary in my backyard a few years ago when I learned monarch numbers started drastically declining. And I'm rewilding my entire property with native plants. Every little bit helps.
Show PostSpring is (almost) sprung! Snowball hanging out in my mulberry grove while I check out the post-winter state of my Monarch Sanctuary. #spring #gardening #eco-garden #monarchsanctuary
