The more I am learning about the AI cult and SV/Bay area tech culture, the more I understand why the industry’s outputs suck so much. It’s all burrito taxis and wire mothers because that is what youngish people who make six figures but live with 5+ others in drafty victorian houses want.

For a spell I wrote travel stories for the Porter’s inflight mag - they always gave me the …. not NYCs. Which was great actually. Sudbury. Timmins. Moncton was a lot of fun. Was always a drive by to get to fam in NS before that, nice to stop and poke around w purpose.

Look my one clear memory of Moncton was having delicious spaghetti there on a road trip to Nova Scotia as a 9yo, so as far as I'm concerned we should move the *national* capital there.
