I’m sorry, but it is like that. There are places where one can deal with hearing stupid ideas, and sifting through to find the useful ones. And there are places where it is a desecration and would prevent - perhaps, it feels, forever - the communion that makes a novel happen.

sometimes the thought crosses my mind of using an LLM to suggest a scene for a novel. It's so helpful at eg finding a restaurant near a tube station or how to return a faulty item. But even READING one of its stupid poorly-argued ideas for my book wd feel like someone vomiting on a holy shrine.
