This is the sight I see every time the bus I take comes out of the Cross-Harbour Tunnel on Kowloonside. A reminder: In 2019, protestors were trapped on the HK Polytechnic University campus. So those scars on the buildings and structures are less likely to have been caused by them than the police.

Has anyone thought to ask tourists what they want or which parts of HK they enjoyed? Years ago I took my dad on a loop of HK island on the bus (with stops) as it was the most convenient way to get where I wanted us to start/end. He was telling loads of people about it

Really quite struck by how piss-poor the UK coverage has been of the French riots, particularly from commentators. Superficial, know-nothing, self-interested, utterly unrevealing. An emabrrassment.
