More than 145 IPCC authors have now signed a letter with one main message: we will keep working. Last Friday, the 65th IPCC Plenary was suspended without agreement on the timeline for this Seventh Assessment Cycle or on the 2027 budget.

Würde die klimakillende Steuerbefreiung für Kerosin abgeschafft, dazu noch das Dienstwagenprivileg, das nur Geld dorthin leitet, wo schon viel Geld ist, könnte der Preis des Deutschlandtickets auf 5 Euro oder so fallen. Das mal als Beitrag zum Thema: "Wir können uns das alles nicht mehr leisten!"

Well it *has* to be at least partly wrong due to the jump between the linear sections. The linear segments should have been constrained to be continuous.

I had a very very minor bit part to play in this hugely impressive work by Derrick Muhecki as part of his PhD rescuing millions of meteorological records from the Congo Basin. Congrats to Derrick on the work. esd.copernicus.org/articles/17/...
