Every time I ask a Dr for help I get smacked down. Wish doctors actually believed in severe ME/CFS. Or that I had any other illness that wasn’t both neglected and devastating. Doctor: You have to see a gp in person Me: I’m housebound. It’ll make me much sicker Doctor: You have no choice FML

I grew up with #MECFS and it's good to see some more coverage lately, although I must say I find the severe cases very hard to read about so haven't actually read this article yet. So important to understand that this could literally be you or anyone you know, it's not connected to general health

1) Just watched the presentation by Dr. Hanna Ollila titled "The Future of MECFS Genetics". Her team did the fibromyalgia genetic study and her background is in sleep genetics and brain autoimmunity. She gave a good impression and presented findings from a big meta-analysis.
