i think there is a way to raise money for a non-profit SA-recovery charity without generalizing a highly specific occurence of it at the expense of people's understanding and treatment of the people directly affected by it, i do not think most of them would want their experience reduced to a gag

and especially you do not need to attach your own fanworks to that. i get that is an effective donation incentive, but at that point I feel it should be clear that focusing the stream around the predator being a big bad unspeakable person is not very responsible?

like I do get the sentiment, we all hate the person, they're sickening, but as a direct and physical victim of SA, one of the worst things I can imagine is a larger population learning of it and turning the person into a punchline...

A punchline that I'd have to repeatedly see, where people don't even know what happened and just know they have a target they can aim for, completely neglecting me and the other people harmed by my abuser, because they're there for the fun and validation, and not to actually make space for us

Ultimately if one wanted to die on the hill of theming the stream around that, they COULD be raising that $3000 for the victims of that person directly, I think that would actually do far better in raising awareness and supporting the relevant people. I get the impression that was not considered
