Right exactly. I empathise with what happened, but I don’t think it should be eternally used as a case study into why you shouldn’t show or test things. Because it’s a thing that has always happened to some extent.

I just spent some time looking this up. It was rotary Tetris. This kind of proves the point; the idea is more cloneable if you can convey it in a 2 second gif. But that has always been true, and that’s why the types of indie game ideas which tended to get stolen were things like hole.io and Threes.
