Show PostHowever, I dislike the end credit scene, as I share similar sentiments that Dorothy should have remained dead. The show shoots itself in the foot a little when taking into account its overall message to “Forget the past and let go of envy”.
Show PostWhile I wish Makoto stayed evil and things ended differently, I dont think the overall message of the show would have stuck. Though, I’m still satisfied with the ending of the Great Pretender.
Show PostThe music was fun and the intros and outros were visually stunning. While there were moments that felt out of place—moreso prevalent in Case 3—they were never enough to pull me out of the stories that were being told.
Show PostThe show reminded me a lot of Carmen Sandiego going in, and while the two share similar concepts, they are vastly different. It never got boring even once, and there was always an air of thrill and mystery that stuck around even to the last episode.
