i love talking people down into stupidity you can just be dumb, free from the burden of knowing. it's very hot to watch people you know well struggle to access their own knowledge. it's also adorable when you see them finally give up. accept the dumb. usually a kiss gets a giggle outta them :)

I always appreciate when chair manufacturers make chairs with holes in the back to accommodate for people with tails. That's very thoughtful and considerate of them :3

Indie animation studios are not Amazon or Meta. Even "just" 15 million in cash is an incredible opportunity for any small to medium sized company. That's 150 labor years at a decent salary, or a new office building in Sydney. Can't wait to see what they use that new capital on.

i'd love that, but if we want all the cartoons on it to look like KoG or monkey wrench or whatever, that service needs to bring in enough money to give every new production on it something between $25k-$150k per episode and i have no earthly clue if that's feasible in any way.

"Indie animation will save the industry" always read as "people making stuff largely for pennies through passion alone will give me more things to watch". The only thing that can save animation is actually paying animators and consumers willing to pay for things that aren't on youtube.
