I hate that everyone in her mentions including herself is acting very defensive and combative bc I'd genuinely like to know what the motivation behind that was. it kind of just looks like she didn't know or care that much neither did wotc so as long as it still made sense as a story it didn't matter

that is not to say there haven't been people doing victim blaming rhetoric I do think in that situation talking about all the different ways a victim can act and relating it to personal experience is fine !!
