A wrong focus. The press paid a lot of attention to the damages and the riots, but the actual reasons for the students' protests where pushed aside. #France #students #protests #education #riots @cartoonmovement.com @cartooningforpeace.bsky.social

We have this problem here in the US. France was just the warm up. Trust me although there’s nothing left to destroy except for banks Brinks depot etc. ours have withered away. Nothing left. Pittsburgh PA. No one wants a protest in a shopping mall. That’s just wrong.

Props to Allegheny County Council’s adoption of the parental leave ordinance this evening! A local government uniquely taking the lead on this kind of issue serves as a model for a starting point for truly taking care of workers and families.
