I really liked the statement this movie made, about people who talk big but know very little about philosophy, and who treat religion and theology as if it is all a conspiracy theory that they're just dying to expose. Hugh Grant's kook was that taken to extremes, and it's a rare subject to skewer.

Roost in Peace little featherbundle.
Show PostI think I missed a few days, but I chose my itinerary from the highest and lowest rated horror films on my watchlist. That made it a good mix of classics like The Exorcist and the Changeling and real crap like The Howling 2. It was a fun month!
Show PostI did this a few years ago. This year I'm reading a Poe story or poem every day, though I fell asleep early last night so I'll double up today. Heh.
Show PostI think you'd have a hard time finding anyone to seriously challenge that list, with only some variation in the order. A lot of people liked Suspiria and I admit I have a soft spot for Dr. Phibes, but overall that's a solid list. Maybe I'll find a good 70s horror for tonight. Hmm.
