I think I have a quite literal-minded approach to movies that can sometimes lead to me not seeing eye to eye with people. And the Nathan Fielder movie is the clearest example. I am not in any way disturbed by the idea that you can't tell if someone is authentic or honest through their behavior alone

Show Post"oooo but what if we don't crush the seppies" Folks. You are never going to crush them. Quebec has never truly crushed them. You have to take each and every win you can. California polls higher on "I want to separate" than Alberta does. Please go eat some protein and hydrate yourself.
Show PostI don't view today's Alberta referendum as legitimate. The appropriate process is to form a separatist party, get elected, then have a referendum. Imagine if this meta-referendum actually passed today... and the officially federalist party in power had to hold a real separation referendum? Chaos.
