I also miss the DS and 3DS getting support. I'm sure they've done the math with the GBA micro and gone "yeah, this doesn't work", but having a home for 30-40 dollar studio games was great, and I loved what people did with the hardware and inputs.

this isn't even a preference thing to be clear. (Although I do like shorter games.) Dark souls used to fit within the standard of AAA, and now you're going to be waiting until 2030 for the follow up to elden ring. I'd really love another lower tier of studio quality games.

The real winner of the OoT remake is that a smaller classic zelda gets to perform in the market again. I like BtoW and don't mind them making more of those, but games are too big, and the old formula is solid. Elden ring is phenomenal, but I want another game at the scale of Dark souls 1.
