This was the most baby-brained question in the bunch, and it didn't even pass because even dumb voters were like "huh?" "We don't have to do ANYTHING Ottawa wants when it comes to healthcare. But Ottawa STILL has to give us all the money for healthcare. I'm SELF-RELIANT but keep the cheques coming"

I hadn't really looked too closely at any of the non-separation questions in the Alberta referendum but I'm looking now and like the first 5 questions are just "don't you hate immigrants??" and all 5 passed "yes" kind of a bummer subheadline to the headline

Thank you to those who fought for Canada. This is a blowout. But it does not sit well with me that the Alberta separatist campaign could not have been more cartoonishly stupid, more politically inept, more obviously mendacious and weird, and may still get almost a quarter of the province to say yes.
