You have give me the chance to get to know you. (Not the chance to disrespect you) but in that there will be some awkwardness, and some uncomfortable moments, but if you work thru that for the outcome of genuine connection, what did you go into it for? Do you want fans, or do you want friends?
Show PostMaking new friends as adults isn't as hard as some of you all make it out to be. It starts with getting over YOURSELF. Yes, know who you are, and never ignore the value in that, but you can't expect someone who doesn't know you, never met you, or hasn't been studying to have the same reverence.

Finished my last day at my art teaching job. I'll be going forward with ceramics 100% of the time. It's been an amazing 7 years and I'm grateful to have been part of these students lives for a short while 💙
