I don’t understand why you’re upset that you’re not a film expert. Like you’d rather die on the hill that MCU movies are cinematic masterpieces than just listen to what people who engage in cinema in a deeper way are explaining and learn. Again try to imagine someone saying this about you and games

Show PostIt’s not at all. It’s ok to not be an expert on every topic. Not everyone can be good at everything. Like I’ve played most of the final fantasy games but I would defer to your expertise on the topic and admit you know more. Why can’t you do the same on this?
Show PostSecondly you’re being disingenuous. It’s not an opinion it’s a fact that if you engage in something more and in more depth than someone who does so casually or recently you would know more. That is irrefutable.
Show PostYou gave away your hand in our early conversation when you didn’t know basic terms used in cinema circles, didn’t know the context of the conversation about the MCU and its effect on cinema, and refuse to acknowledge glaring technical deficiencies in the MCU films.
