My favorite is European countries having more strict laws about data collection. Almost every website will steal your data in America for ad targeting, but suddenly will ask you what data you want to be collected if you’re European. They’re just hoping nobody ever notices. 😐

Traveling around, I notice the same companies have completely different regulations for different countries. Like allergy disclosures, tax-inclusion in price, etc. So, these companies have the capability to make safe and ethical changes to their platform, and choose not to, unless obligated by law
