Odd night. Met up with Bob and Rob for the first time in ages. Couldn't stay as had to dash off to the scene of last night's crime, La'Go, to fail yet again to win the quiz with the 'help' of a couple of latecomers. Came 15th. Didn't matter as we had a lot of fun. Not many 56 year-olds doing that.

#new2me26 Dorothy Ashby - The Rubáiyát of Dorothy Ashby Guessing that everyone else on here already knows this album. It jumps from David Axelrod style grooves to almost 50s sounding jazz sounds and then off to outer space. Every bit as good as Afro-Harping which seems to get more love. Perfect LP

THE BEST DAY! I've a few bits ordered too. Should get a package this week, new Johnny Marr, Andy Bell(Ride) new one & a Nala Sinephro reissue. A few preorders due soon too....😃😱 Just as well I "made" more space.

What a record. The OPT made beautiful music. Same here, sleep wise, but I wanted to get up to see the sun come up. The changes in colour are incredible this morning, the frost adding another few shades.
