While the actual reason is unclear, game companies at the time believed that "cute characters wouldn't be popular worldwide," and games with cute art styles were either not released or had their characters replaced. In Japan, conversely, "Yoshi no Panepon (Tetris Attack)" has become quite rare.
Show PostI'm certainly familiar with "Panel de Pon." I find it interesting that the staff credits for "Kisekko" and "Daisuki" include staff members who previously worked at INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS, in addition to Makiko Fujii.
Show PostHow wonderful! "Kisekkogurumi" and "Daisuki Teddy" are both practically unknown in Japan because they have so few players... It's a shame, because Misha and the three sisters Ai, Mai, and Yui are so cute! I was so moved to meet fans from overseas!
