First, there was no such poll and no such staffer. Haley Stevens campaign denied it. It was a lie. Second, ethical and responsible pollsters and analysts do not spread vague rumors. Lambda made a huge splash with that post and may have swung the election. Either reason is enough to shun him.

Could we not use umichvoter as a source for polls? He's the one who spread a lie that Haley Stevens staffers were saying she was down by 14 points and couldn't win. Also he doesn't vote in Michigan - he lives in Brooklyn now. He's a semi-public figure, Kshitiz Lambda.
