I view it as the intern who will never grow beyond you needing to check their work. If it's the sort of job you can fob off to an intern without checking their work, then...cool, I guess. But that's still a lot of effort, without the benefits of working with a cool young person.

I've been using AI as a toy for years, and largely have the same sentiment. I got pushed to start using it at work about a month ago, and so far have found exactly two use cases where I get a legitimate benefit, and make checking the results part of my work flow.

They’ve done an excellent job generating pressure without blitzing, and of the QBs they’ve played, only Bryce Young really handled it well when pressured. They’ve also possessed the ball a lot more than their opponents, and in three of their four games they spent a lot of time with fairly big leads.

So I think relatively few plays to begin with for their opponents, and almost nobody is as effective when the other team knows you’re going to be passing. Also the one game they haven’t played with a lead was in awful weather, so not much opportunity for that one to skew those numbers.
