A very warm welcome to these three new Probationer Choristers, who have started their journey in the Cathedral Choir over the past few weeks, and have come via our Music in Schools Programme. The future is very bright! #Welcome
Show PostOur two outgoing Head Choristers conducted most of Evensong this evening, whilst one of our organ students from the keyboard pathway of the Music in Schools Programme played the voluntaries. Well done, everyone - you did a super job! #MaestroMaking
Show PostIt was wonderful to welcome over 120 singers from church choirs from across the Diocese of Derby for our Diocesan Choral Festival this afternoon. Well done, everyone - it sounded amazing! You can hear the service back at www.youtube.com/live/RbNKYqu...
Show PostOur choristers had an amazing afternoon singing with The Sixteen, as they rehearsed for their concert in the Cathedral this evening. Particular thanks to Mark Dobell, one of their singers, who led the choristers through a vocal workshop beforehand.
