The next president should normalize diplomatic relations with Iran, undo the sanctions and engage in trade and cultural exchange. Making believe that Iran is an “existential threat” to us is not only pathetic, it is one of those elite “luxury beliefs” that we struggle to afford

I tried reading the third, but the fact that he uses characters not in the public domain so you have to guess who is who by descriptions was really tiresome and I never finished it.

just went back and re-read this one - I think I like the first two books in the series the best because there's a narrative arc w/"the Victorian aristocracy goes wrong and then clings to power until the apocalypse" that isn't really there in the later ones.
