It probably should have occurred to me much earlier, but it really hit home today. I served a dozen years as a SOWT, I'm a meteorologist and a professional ship Master, I have a lot of emergency management training/certs. I'm far more qualified to lead DHS than Mrs. Noem could ever dream of being.

AI should be limited. Kept away from interacting with humans, away from making decisions affecting humans. Let the AI make machine design faster, conduct research... Whatever. Just keep it the hell away from humans' lives. They're starting to occupy a place in society that shouldn't exist.
