Rewatched Clannad with friends a few years back and Maeda's art is still very strong and really helped me try to press on after losing my partner before my early 20s, you can tell from that why Clannad means a lot to me, next to Little Busters, Angel Beats or anything relating to death

Jun Maeda has been diagnosed with pharyngeal cancer after a medical exam following more pronounced pain and swelling in his throat. He has chosen not to pursue active treatment and instead will focus on palliative care, wishing to conserve his strength and devote himself to his creative work.
