Yup. I'm all for lots of other potential actions. But people seem super mad at me for suggesting that maybe punishing Zuck for 1A protected speech would be bad. The thirst for any kind of punishment whatsoever takes people to dark places.

It’s funny because when he was in the Senate everyone said we had to tolerate whatever he did/said for practicality sake and now that he’s out of the Senate we’re still seeing influential caucus members mirroring his *exact* messaging to beat back demands for action.

I'm not in favor of controlling Zuck's speech or Meta's speech. I'm in favor of ending his total, unaccountable control over Meta and in general breaking the extreme and increasingly lawless power the tech oligarchs have built themselves in ways completely orthogonal to speech.
