Yes they do and creating a nebulous category of ppl who have no rights is the exact opposite of how we reconsolidate this democracy. This is a justification for mass repression when what we need is a mixture of targeted prosecutions and wide-ranging reforms that rip up MAGA power by the roots.

At least in theory I'd say that spending thresholds are much worse going down than up; being able to afford a nicer place doesn't place any need to move on a person while no longer being able to pay rent does
