But suddenly in the past six months or so the onus has been on me to be like "you didn't ship me this thing" THAT IS A CHANGE And I know I used to work customer service for an online retailer.
Show PostAnd I want to be clear here: my issue is not that an item is out of stock. My issue is that even two years ago if you ordered something and it was out of stock that company's purchasing system would send you an email being like we fucked up it's out of stock here's your money back.
Show PostEvery other example I listed the product was already out of stock hence not shipping. Which makes me think their product management system is bad at inventory. These guys had the product in stock, the system just never told them to ship it.
