I honestly think that you probably want the new line as an operationally separate line. A lot of the demand will be intra Surrey I think.

That Vancouver transit being as good as it is has so much to do with right leaning politicians is a big part of why I find the left-right dynamic in much of transit discourse so exhausting.

Great to see another crosswalk being upgraded to signalized in @victoria.ca ! This is where my grandfather used to cross when he was in 90s. We still have at least a 5 - 4 majority in favour of important safety improvements like this. So important to #vote! #yyj #visionzero
