Emptied 17.5mm from my gauge this am. A remnant band of showers crosses NS this am. Then a sun cloud mix with spotty showers (flurries north) and chilly single digits this aftn. The weather pattern next week looks mostly sunny. A couple of intense storms pass just south NS... will keep an eye.

A cold front with showers at times heavy over NW NB will gradually move into PEI & NS late this aftn then leave the Maritimes overnight. Mostly fine sun cloud mix Friday with scattered late day showers. A mostly fine long weekend as well. Any showers more likely over E NS or E PEI. not bad!

Isaias may become the first 2026 hurricane in the Atlantic basin. The remnants could bring a damp finish to Thanksgiving weekend here in the Maritimes. As of now, it appears the bulk of the rain will remain offshore, but much depends on the next few days + how it interacts with a Fall low moving in.

As Trump demonizes cities, remember this: Residents of "blue" states send more tax money to Washington than they get back in federal help, while residents of “red” states send less money to Washington than they get back in federal help. Just thought I should point that out.
