if you want people to vote you need to prove to them you are worth voting for. don't just tell them "nothing will fundamentally change".

Glad you asked. there's a few reasons. one ofcourse is simple voter suppression. things like gerrymandering, voterID laws, even stuff like keeping election day to one day, instead of election WEEK, or one th weekend, they keep to a weekday when most of the poor and middle-class are working.
