Hi Lorraine. We don't record these seminars because they're very much "work in progress" & the speakers are usually looking to get feedback on their ideas, but that talk is part of a bigger project on Clonard (led by @niamhwycherley.bsky.social) so I am sure it will be published in due course!

There's a degree of postcolonial cringe at play in which Oxbridge occupies an outsized place in these people's minds, a desire to jump on whatever 🇬🇧 culture war is waging, the same underlying racial biases and ofc a complete lack of interest in the supposedly substantive issue of academic standards
