I cannot take credit for any of this, however. I have only been editor-in-chief for two years, so I'm still relying on the support of those who have worked on the journal for several years. My only contribution to this is that I didn't fuck up the funding application. I am relieved.

This is a journal open to submissions from any medievalists, although the focus tends to be on Nordic history precisely in order to justify why the government should continue to fund us. Despite the somewhat parochial framework, we still manage to provide space for international scholarship.
