Be careful how you do this as you raised money for one thing and will be repurposing it. I'd personally be ok with it going towards legal. Just be very transparent about it all and offer refunds for those who request refunds. I mean it would have been silly to turn down nhs to wait for private.

Regarding the money raised, I would put a go fund me update letting people have the option of a refund just in case anyone raises a stink about their donation being for a specific cause (you know how some people are these days..) Then donate in time. Happy for my donation to go to charity though. 🙂

100% reverse refund is technically the easiest way to be sure and free of people making mischief ad nauseum. Glad the NHS came through for Heathrr and this has saved you further worry. Good luck going forward.
