I also appreciate how El-Sayed knows that the smirking little weasel asking the question 1. Doesn't have a follow-up to his gotcha and 2. Doesn't want to admit that he's just a bigot, and then doesn't let him squirm out of that corner.

The way he repeatedly uses his name, making clear that he sees Tommy, is talking directly to Tommy, will not let Tommy disappear for a second until he is done. It’s masterful.

Two smaller things I appreciate here: 1. Unless I’m mistaken, there are zero cuts or edits in this? It’s the whole conversation, start to finish. 2. The addition of “or not pray at all” every single time, which a lot of candidates tend to omit.
