These passwords are issued by certificate authorities, and they do that using complicated maths with incredibly big numbers, meaning the passwords are hard to guess. However it turns out that one of these authorities, instead of using numbers several hundred digits long, has been using "4".

you know, it’s not some Great Compromise, and I despise that rhetoric. Trans and nb people and all the ordinary decent people who think they’re fine are co-opted, brutalised & morally injured. Transphobes & bigots aren’t happy, because nothing will satiate that appetite for violence.
