My ear hurts; not a lot, it's just irritating & also I keep accidentally poking it b/c I am both clumsy & forgetful. But it's very worth it b/c I bloody love this piercing! I feel so cool! I love how it looks! 🥰 I'm really looking forward to it calming down a little, though.

The hamster occasionally has nightmares (best guess for his behaviour - anxious squeaking while asleep, calms when he wakes). On one hand I get it: he's a prey animal. But he has also, crucially, experienced absolutely NO HARDSHIP WHATSOEVER in his whole life, so overall I'm baffled.

Good things: - Today I phoned both vet & dentist, & changed currency for the weekend; - Yesterday I planned all the trains for the weekend so I can just look forward to 3 days in Baden-Wurttemberg speaking Klingon with friends (it's going to be great) - SFTH livestream tonight! What a good day.
