Also, spend on the FLAVOR of the food, not on presentation. I wish I had only gotten a small elaborate cake for the highly decorated centerpiece one, then a bunch of simpler ones.
Show PostI know my sister only had a few presentation focused food items at her wedding reception, and the items everyone remembers were not presentation focused. The presentation focused ones were ones that would be pretty lazy not to do presentation on, like Shrimp Cocktail.
