Show PostWhole of Grey St is indescribably better. Wider pavements, less traffic, environmental improvements- needs to continue but magnificent really. Grainger Market - tremendous. It has become a go to destination. Lots of variety. Loads of local indie businesses. Just the dog’s bollocks.
Show PostSome positives about The Toon Northumberland St has improved - work has taken a long time but is taking shape. Whole Pilgrim St doings from Blackett St to Swan House is a big improvement and when HMRC is operational should bring footfall to the city centre for businesses etc
Show PostEarl Grey Bar by Grey’s Monument being done up - fingers crossed for a good city centre joint in a key location. The Ivy - former Lloyds Bank - should be a v popular place. General - loads of v nice indie cafes and bars around the city - indies - quirky - give a bit of character.
