Guardian readers on their favourite record labels. I'd go for Step Forward or Virgin from 1978 to 1983. www.theguardian.com/culture/2026...

#albumoftheday #VinylCommunity Fontaines D.C. - Dopamine Chamber (2026) This landed today, accompanied with abundant press hype. First impressions - they continue to broaden their sonic boundaries and Grian Chatten is becoming more soulful as a singer. Promising. Best track- Marianne #NowPlaying

#NowPlaying Pink Floyd - Pulse (1995) Live double CD from a Waters-less Floyd. Slightly bloodless but two hours of their best 70/80s work, including the whole of DSOTM. Gilmour's guitar work is emotionally perfect. Best track - Great Gig In The Sky #MusicSky

My triple take went from "did I give an interview I've forgotten about?" to "is this a new AI thing?" to "oh yeah there's a town called Coutts"
