I was workshopping a personal essay about how a bloke tried to rape me, and I said something about was I kind of misgendering myself because between two gay blokes it would just be negotiation failure. Fortunately the editor I was working with just went "um. No it wouldn't."

my point is that these kinds of people always see trans women as perpetually male brained predators that have to atone for their sins of maleness and no coming out will fix that
