Fairies: we are killing fireflies with pesticides and pollution. Mermaids: dugongs. Threatened. Sea cows are already extinct. Dragons: the asteroid killed the big ones, such as pterodactyls, we're left with birds. No fire breathing, but I still wouldn't upset an ostrich.
