I discourage writing about LLMs as if LLMs have agency, because LLMs have none. Instead of saying, "the LLM solved a Millennium Prize problem," for example, say that a mathematician used an LLM to solve a Millennium Prize problem. It's still an amazing technological achievement, but a human one.

I got libertarianized in 1971 or 1972 in my senior high school English class when the teacher had us read The Fountainhead and Night of January 16th and I forget if Atlas Shrugged was assigned or not, but I read it, and We The Living, and literally subscribed to the newsletter.
