i don't think im saying that at all. my feeling is moreso "calling this one off because it didn't do what people expected it to is very unfair". and that i think that there's a lot of value in it. it's not about whether it is better or worse than other yuri shows or media.

i can tell you that especially from my perspective as a trans woman this entire show resonated so deeply. there's such a potent depiction of queerness and the struggles of it in a world that wishes for you to conform. i would tell you to give it a shot and see how it hits you.
