Sometimes I go on podcasts even when they have no followers or episodes. They ask why. Because: 1. I don't make life decisions based on "number of followers." 2. Persistence 3. Did research (i.e. showed genuine care) 4. Had good questions that I wanted to answer. Don't need an audience for 2-4.

Show PostBluesky's "Popular With Friends" has introduced me to a cohort of middle-aged people who obviously almost did musical theater. They have so much rage, and yet they hit so few actual notes. And it's made them insane. Still, there's a whole tab for them. I think that's nice and inclusive.
