About an hour ago I was at the outdoor farewell reception for the conference I'm at and, in the middle of talking to someone, I saw a squirrel in the distance and blurted out "squirrel!" So I guess that says a lot about me.

In a much better world, I would have spent last night at a Taemin concert. But in our actual world, I spent the evening at the emergency vet with my dog. (They say he'll be ok. He is home, stitched up, but not eating his breakfast.) 3 bad things in 3 months means only good stuff now, right? ☹️
