And it's the 18 degrees that's the challenge. We have a cooling function in our Nibe Heat pump ( cooling came as a free upgrade via a software update a year or so after installation). There were days this summer where we were getting condensation at a flow temp of 18 degrees, so we had to up it.
Show PostSo the "add on" is inside your rooms to enable the cooling system to connect to your exisitng heat pump outside? Rather than an add on to the heat pump itself? I still find it a bit confusing.

Show PostThere's a Dutch company that offers a cooling add-on for its heat pump, and I think Octopus will offer something similar. It's essentially a fan coil (with advanced monitoring of the dew point, etc.) The clever thing is that they use the absorbed heat for DHW. Hope we see more of these solutions.
